Board Profile

Board Composition

The Board consists of 7 members as provided for by the Engineering Profession Act #y of 2003. The Ministry of Pubic Works solicits applications from the engineering community and thereafter chooses 7 individuals to participate on the Board of Engineering.

Selecting a New Board

Upon their first meeting, a structure is elected from members of the new Board to include the Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. Shortly thereafter the Joint Accreditation and Assessment Committee is formed that consists of the other Board members, a Registrar and a member of the Dominica Association of Professional Engineers (DAPE).

Engineering Profession Act #22 of 2002 : The Act allows for the formation of other committees.

The Current Board consists of seven members. They are:

Joint Accreditation and Assessment Committee (JAAC)

This committee is responsible for assessing applications for registration by eligible engineers. The members of this committee are:
